We've made a change to how new accounts are activated on the forum. Going forward, all new registrations will require admin approval before becoming active, rather than the previous email-based activation.
This change is in response to a recent wave of spam accounts and posts. We want to keep this a welcoming and clutter-free space for genuine members, and admin approval helps us do that.
If you know someone who's trying to join, let them know their account may take a short time to be approved. We'll do our best to review new registrations promptly.
